August 16, 2010 Day 3

This is my last day of my trip of Seoul, South Korea. It will be missed and I hope to visit again soon. So now today my family, and I will have the best of it, and just have another day of exitement. On that morning, my mom and my oldest cousin fixed korean pancakes. I can say their not the best food I've ever tried, probably because they have vegetables in them..BLAH. The pancakes are also very thin and crisp at the edges. You may want to order pageon before you begin your meals, my mom always says. I guess it's just a manner that they do or something.
Today was a girl's day, Mom, Aunts, girl cousins, and I went to The COEX mall, the best baragin shopping area. Shopping is one of my specialties of mine. I have to go shopping once in awhile. I was very curious and excited to see what kind of stuff they would have there for me to see. And besides, I need afew souvinirs to keep for memories. When we walked in one of the stores, it was pretty much filled with hello kitty stuff. I loved it, hello kitty is one of my favorite characters ever. Of course I had to get something hello kitty, My younger cousins went crazy and scurried to every item they wanted to get. I ended up getting jewelery, two hello kitty items, and just  'afew' clothing you can say, haha. Shopping always puts me into a great mood. :)
COEX Mall      The COEX Mall has shopping arcades modeled after ecosystems like forest, ocean, lake and waterfall. If navigating the largest underground shopping and entertainment complex in Asia (1.3 million square feet) is not challenging enough, you can always jump into the shark and stingray tank at the mall’s aquarium, or gain cultural appreciation of Korean cuisine in the kimchi museum. It's pretty amazing!
Rainbow fountain SeoulThat night, was unbelievable. That I just couldn't wait to see, it was a sight that I would never forget. It was straight up spectacular. We went to The Banpo Rainbow Bridge fountain, I love rainbows so I pretty much went crazy when I saw the sight of it. It's definatly a must-see thing.
The Banpo Bridge in Seoul, South Korea just got a major facelift in the form of a 10,000-nozzle fountain that runs all the way along both its sides. They were just installed last month, but already the bridge has turned into a major tourist attraction. Which is understandable, as I’ve certainly never driven over a bridge that’s pumping out 190 tons of water per minute. And since it’s just pulling up water from the river below, it’s nice and eco-friendly. Hit the jump for a video of this awesome bridge in action. It's also one the most beautiful water fountains in the world.
The day was over as hours passed by too quickly. We cherished every moment we had together. And of course we had another special family dinner, but sadly our last. So this dinner was huge. And after dinner, all the adults sing kareoke for the fun of it. It was really funny to watch, at times they sing very good and other times they sing silly!
